What we do as a charity in Uganda
- Food Relief : We provide nutritious meals for vulnerable families.
- School fees: Tatu provides school fees to the less privileged learners.
- Scholastics for Learners: We donate books, pens, and school supplies for primary and secondary learners.
- Clothes & Shoes: Restoring dignity and comfort for families in need.
- Household Items: We also provide beddings, utensils, personal care and basic home essentials.

Tatu Charity in Uganda: Our Previous Charity Events
Our first charity event, we visited Kikaramoja village in Masese Jinja district located on the banks of river Nile in Uganda on 31st May 2025. On June 28th we visited Lutoboka landing site in Kalangala district of Sese Islands on lake Victoria. Our third charity was in Bukwanga village Bundibugyo district on the outskirts of Semuliki wildlife reserve. Our fourth charity event was in Kabungo village in Kabale district on 31st October. Tatu and its partners provided books, school fees, pens, pencils, rice, sugar, soap, snacks, soda, clothes, shoes, tooth paste, money and many other basic home necessities. Overall we have impacted over 1,062 individuals, 270 families, 420 learners 669 women and girls all in just 4 Tatu Charity Events.

How often do you organize charity trips?
Our plan is to organize monthly charity trips to Uganda’s top tourist destinations but currently we are traveling once every two months because of limited resources.
Can I join even if I’m not based in Uganda?
Yes! Both local and international travelers are welcome to travel with us. We also accept donations from anywhere in the world.
Do I need a visa to visit Uganda?
Yes. Most international visitors require a tourist visa to enter Uganda. The e-Visa can be applied for online before arrival at only $50, and East Africa Tourist Visas are also available for combined trips to Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. Some countries are visa exempted while traveling to Uganda.
What do you donate during outreach?
Food, clothes, shoes, scholastic materials, and essential household items.
